What is a planetary gearbox?

A planetary gearbox is a widely used industrial product that performs as well as other military-grade gearbox products, but at a more affordable industrial-grade price. Planetary gearboxes are widely used in the East China and North China regions and are used in a wide range of industrial applications. They can also be used as supporting components for lifting, excavation, transportation, construction, and other industries.

Stages:

The number of sets of planetary gears. Sometimes, 2 or 3 sets are needed to meet the user's requirements for larger transmission ratios. As the number of planetary gears increases, the length of the 2 or 3-stage gearbox will increase, and efficiency will decrease. Backlash: When the output end is fixed and the input end is rotated clockwise and counterclockwise to produce the rated torque of +-2%, there is a slight angular displacement at the input end of the gearbox, which is the backlash. The unit is "minutes," which is one-sixtieth of a degree. Some people also call it "backlash."

As the gearbox industry continues to develop, more and more companies are using gearboxes. Planetary gearboxes are an industrial product and a transmission mechanism. Its structure consists of an internal tooth ring tightly combined with the gearbox shell. The center of the ring gear has a sun gear driven by external power. Between the two, there is a set of planetary gears consisting of three gears equally combined on a tray.

The set of planetary gears floats on the output shaft, internal tooth ring, and sun gear. When the input side power drives the sun gear, it can drive the planetary gears to rotate and follow the trajectory of the internal tooth ring to revolve around the center. The rotation of the planetary gears drives the output shaft connected to the tray to output power.

Using the speed converter of the gear, the rotation speed of the motor is reduced to the required rotation speed, and a mechanism with a larger torque is obtained. In the gearbox mechanism used for transmitting power and motion, the planetary gearbox is a precision gearbox, and the reduction ratio can be accurate to 0.1-0.5 revolutions per minute.

Working principle:

The internal tooth ring (A) is tightly combined with the gearbox shell. The center of the ring gear has a sun gear (B) driven by external power. Between the two, there is a set of planetary gears (C) consisting of three gears equally combined on a tray.
