The correct installation, use, and maintenance of precision planetary gear reducers are crucial to ensuring the normal operation of mechanical equipment. Therefore, when installing the planetary gear reducer, assembly should strictly follow the installation and usage guidelines below.
Step 1: Check whether the motor and precision planetary gear reducer are complete, and ensure that each part connecting the motor and precision planetary gear reducer is of the same size.
Step 2: Rotate the screws on the flange outer anti-vibration hole of the precision planetary gear reducer, adjust the PCS system fixture ring, align the side holes and anti-vibration holes, and insert the internal hexagon rotation. Then remove the motor shaft key. Before installation, wipe the motor input shaft and the anti-rust oil at the connection of the reducer with gasoline or zinc sodium water.
Step 3: Naturally connect the motor with the precision planetary gear reducer. When connecting, it is necessary to ensure that the concentricity of the reducer's output shaft and the motor's input shaft is consistent, and the outer flange between the two is parallel.
This can extend the service life, achieve ideal transmission efficiency, and lower noise. In addition, to prevent excessive axial force or radial force from causing bearing or gear damage, it is strictly forbidden to use hammers or other impacts during installation. Before tightening the force bolt, the installation bolt must be tightened.
Step 4: After installing the precision planetary gear reducer, rotate it flexibly by hand without any jamming. Before starting, tighten all connecting screws, and the no-load trial run time should not be less than 2 hours. Smooth operation, impact, vibration, noise, and oil leakage must be avoided, and any issues should be promptly addressed when discovered. During use, regularly check whether all fixed components are working properly.
